Monteverde Cloud Forest Zip Lines
Selvatura is a private conservation project comprised of 750 acres of primary cloud forest. This forest is adjacent to the Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve so it is quite extensive.
Here is an exciting way to experience kilometers of cloud forest and your feet will rarely touch the ground!

Selvatura's Canopy Tour is one of the safest and most thrilling adventures of all time. The visitors will be able to see the marvels of the primary cloud forest from a bird's eye view. It is also possible to observe some of the cloud forest's most amazing flora and fauna including a wide variety of epiphytes, monkeys and exotic birds. Surely this tour is the experience of a lifetime.
Our tour consists of 14 platforms connected by stainless steel cables on which our visitors cruise through primary cloud forest while being attached by a top class security harness. The total length of the tour is 1.8 miles (3 kilometers) cruising through altitudes of up to 300 feet (100 meters). This tour also features the longest single cable, 700 meters, and an optional tarzan swing. All of Selvatura's Canopy guides are highly trained for maximum safety.
RATES include tax and transportation to and from most Monteverde hotels:
Each person 12 years or older is $40 US
Each person younger than12 years old is $25 US
Each student with a student I.D. is $35 US
Pick up time from your hotel depends on which hotel you are staying at, usually it will be about half an hour prior to your requested tour time.
Available tour times are: 8:30 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 2:30 PM

To have a guided tour with a Cloud Forest Naturalist Guide on the Walkways Suspension Bridges and Trails add $15 per person to the package price.
Without the other activities the cost of the guided tour with a Cloud Forest Naturalist Guide on the 8 Walkway Suspension Bridges and Trail is $35 for regulars, $30 for students with I.D. and $25 for children under 12 years old including entrance to the forest bridges, transportation to and from most Monteverde hotels and tax (tour lasts about 2 hours).
